the comic part

Days past....soon it was months and now its years...would you agree if I said that life is like a roll of toilet paper? When you were young, a day seems soo long. Time seems to fly by really slowly. But as you aged time seems to pass having no mercy. Like a roll of toilet paper. First it rolls slowly and towards the end it rolls really fast. Sorry I'm on my crazy concept moments again. Yes, I'm on my design development process on my assignments so bare with me. I question myself asking why is it like that? Why was it so carefree back then than it is now? Was it because we had no worries? Was it because we had no major responsibilities? Or was it that time was more lenient when we were younger?
I love day dreaming towards the past and also the future of course. =D Then my mind wonders about life and how it turn out to be. Then I wonder where would I be if I took the other path and wonder if it was meant to be that I've decided to take this path and ended up here? Did God had already set the right path for us and even if we decided to take the other he had his ways to make us detour and get back on the right track? But if I thought of it that way then there wouldn't be any street beggars right? So I guess my concept was just wrong. (=.=) Period. LOL.
I'm always wondering...and trying to make more sense about life itself. Life is obviously not about keeping a score. It's not about how many people call you and it's not about who you've dated, are dating, or haven't dated at all. It isn't about who you've kissed, what sport you play, or which guy or girl likes you. It's not about your shoes or your hair or the colour of your skin or where you live or go to school. In fact it's not about grades, money, clothes, or colleges that accept you or not. Life just isn't about that. But life is about who you love and who you hurt. It's about how you feel about yourself. It's about trust, happiness and compassion. It's about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love. Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance, and building confidence. It's about what you say and what you mean. It's about seeing people for who they are and not for what they have. Most of all, it's about choosing to use your life to touch someone else's in a way that could never been achieved otherwise.
Life is a song-sing it
Life is game-play it
Life is a challenge-meet it
Life is a dream-realise it
Life is a sacrifice-offer it
Life is love-enjoy it
But in this aeon surviving life itself isn't all that easy as it sounds. MONEY is always a problem. Do you agree? No money will get you NO WHERE. It is sad but true. There is so many things one can do with money but without it, you can get no where. So yea I'm a money minded person. Because my goal in life demands A LOT OF IT! I see a lot of young people my age who are making so much money travelling here and there. Being famous, being so successful and I wonder when will it be my turn? Do I have what it takes to get there? Or am I just over confident about myself or is it my LSE taking over yet AGAIN? (LSE = low self esteem) Despite all these money making strategies for life future comfort, life is more than that. Emo side of it, is the one that makes me wonder more. Yes, I'm emotional at times. But I have a good balance of it. *phew* haha. For the 22 years of my life. So much has happen yet at times I fell like I wasted so much of it doing nothing. I guess I'm not the only person feeling such repentness. Again, one of my favourite quote :
"The only things that you regret, are the things that you didn't do"And I'm appalled by these phrases:
"EXPERIENCE is a fancier word for MISTAKE"Well, its not wrong or right. Its about looking at things in a different perspective. Life is about choices. You can choose to wake up and chase that dream or stay in bed and keep dreaming. So why choose to look at things in a dissentious way when you can be happier?or"DETERMINATION is a fancier word for DESPERATION"
If you are a real reader, I'm quite sure you're familiar with "The Secret". So my question is, is it all that sorcery and enchanting? Or is it just another inspirational thing and that's just another tacky marketing skill trying to get people buying that book or DVDs and such. I don't want to be a bubble buster but for me I think its just another marketing skill. Its not lame or useless but its all about being optimistic. Which is a good thing. No denying there. So the question is why does people choose to be pessimistic? Why not the glass half full than half empty?
Ok a nice poem to get you going....
This is the beginning of a new day.
I have been given this day to use as I will.I can waste it, or use it.
I can make it a day long to be remembered for its joy, its beauty and its achievements, or it can be filled with pettiness. What I do today is important because I am exchanging a day of my life for it.
When tomorrow comes this day will be gone forever, but I shall hold something which I have traded for it.
It may be no more than a memory, but if it is a worthy one I shall not regret the price.
I want it to be gain not loss, good not evil, success not failure.

"Life is the greatest journey, you will NEVER be on..."
The weather here has been really gloomy as always. Its the British weather. I was buying my bus pass the other day and this guy who attended to me told me to have a good day and smiled. Earlier he was chatting with his colleague and she said its a lousy day because weather is so crappy and he said well, we can't just stop having a good day can we because it rains here all the time. So did I have a good day? I'll let the picture speak for itself...=)
Don't you think its so beautiful? It looks like a curtain separating the area...when its actually rain...and the other picture proves that even after a rainy gloomy day you can have something wonderful!!

Life huh? Life can be more meaningful if we have an aim, an eternity to look forward too...
ReplyDeleteTrue! I agree! I can never understand people who don't have any aims in life! It just makes them feel so weak don't you think?
